Education ScholarshipsBOMA Philadelphia offers semester length classroom study courses twice a year for students pursuing RPA, FMA and/or SMA designations through the BOMI Institute. BOMI courses provide you with the soundest educational foundation on which to continue to build your current career, or branch out into other areas of the real property industry. BOMI Scholarship Application (pdf) Who is Eligible?Any individual employed by a BOMA Philadelphia member building and/or company, with at least one year experience in commercial real estate. (Students must not be receiving duplicate tuition reimbursement from their companies.)BOMA-BOLR Scholarship ProgramWith the rising costs of higher education, one of the most altruistic aspects of BOMA/Philadelphia and BOLR is its Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to the children of employees of member buildings.The BOMA/Philadelphia-BOLR Scholarship Fund was designed to provide financial aid for scholarships to the children of members of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) 32 BJ, Local 36, who are employed in a BOLR member building and the children of individuals involved full time in the management and/or maintenance of a BOMA member building. BOMA Associate Member – the scholarship is available only to the children of the individual that is currently on file as the representative for the associate member company. Eligibility: Scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors pursuing further education and students currently enrolled in college or vo-tech school. This education can be at any non-profit two-year college (community college), four-year college or university, or accredited vocational- technical school (scholarship funds are for tuition, books and fees).
