The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards ®

REWARDING EXCELLENCE IN BUILDING MANAGEMENT

THE OUTSTANDING BUILDING OF THE YEAR (TOBY) AWARD is the most prestigious and comprehensive program of its kind in the commercial real estate industry. The objective of the TOBY awards is to recognize excellence in building management, operational efficiency, sustainability, tenant retention, emergency planning and community impact.

The competition begins with the local BOMA Philadelphia awards. Winners were announced at the TOBY Awards dinner on September 15, 2011. The local winners then proceeded to the Regional TOBY competition. Winners will be announced at the Regional Middle Atlantic Conference on Friday, April 18, 2012 in Pittsburgh, PA.

To enter the Regional Awards program, a very detailed overview of the building must be submitted electronically. Access to complete an electronic submission will be provided to the buildings which win BOMA/Philadelphia TOBY Awards.

The Regional winners compete in the international competition which is also an electronic submission. The winners of the International TOBY Awards will be announced at the BOMA International Annual Conference and The Every Building Show in June 2012.
