Privacy Policy
The BOMA Philadelphia e-mail network for Regular Members and Associate Members (collectively referred to herein as “Members”) is for official BOMA use only. E-mails will be sent to our Members with regard to BOMA-related activities and initiatives and to matters of general business interest that are deemed to be of sufficient interest to our membership as to warrant the communication. The decision to send communications of a general nature will be made by the BOMA Philadelphia Executive Committee. Under no circumstances will the BOMA Philadelphia e-mail network be used to distribute notices regarding meetings or activities of other organizations (unless jointly BOMA sponsored), charitable solicitations, or other non-BOMA related correspondence, except in the event of a national (and/or International) emergency. In such emergency situations, the Executive Committee and/or Board may deem it appropriate to partner with various charitable organizations to provide Members with an outlet to help in certain relief efforts. It is further agreed and understood that for privacy purposes, the BOMA Member email directory will not be released to any party or entity without the express, unanimous permission of the Executive Committee.
Use of BOMA Philadelphia Logo
From time to time, BOMA Philadelphia receives requests from members to use the BOMA Philadelphia logo on their websites and other marketing materials.
The policy on use of the BOMA Philadelphia logo is as follows:
- Only the following may be authorized to use the BOMA logo, as illustrated herein:
- (1) current members in good standing; and
- (2) parties or organizations with which BOMA has entered into a collaborative or partner relationship for the purposes of marketing and co-sponsorship.
- All requests must be made in writing to BOMA Philadelphia President Kathie Gahres, using the attached request form.
- The BOMA logo may be used only if approved and authorized in writing by the BOMA Philadelphia Executive Committee. It is incumbent upon the requestee to maintain a copy of the written approval for their files.
- Approval for use of the BOMA logo by members shall be coterminous with the requestee’s membership in the organization. If the membership is terminated, either voluntarily or involuntarily, the logo must be removed immediately from all websites, as well as marketing and other materials.
- All websites and other marketing materials using the BOMA Philadelphia logo must provide a link to the BOMA Philadelphia website. The link will be provided by the BOMA Philadelphia office.
- Only the electronic version of the logo provided by the BOMA Philadelphia office may be used. The logo must contain the reference to “member” or “partner” and may not be used without said identifier.
- The logo may not be used in any disparaging or detrimental way that might reflect badly on BOMA Philadelphia, in the sole judgment of the Executive Committee.
- The logo may not be altered, tilted, skewed, or distorted in any way.
- The logo may not be printed over other patterns.
- The BOMA Philadelphia Executive Committee reserves the right to revoke said approval or authorization at any time and for any reason.
- If BOMA Philadelphia should change its logo, any member or organization using the logo shall change the logo accordingly.
- This policy is subject to change at any time. Any member or organization using the logo must comply with policy changes, as communicated by BOMA Philadelphia. Failure to comply with policy changes will result in revocation of prior authorization.
- Noncompliance with the foregoing policy may result in (1) economic penalties of $50.00 per day for each day of noncompliance with the terms hereof, and (2) a statement of noncompliance in the BOMA Philadelphia newsletter and/or other communications.
Use only the electronic versions of the logo provided by the BOMA Philadelphia office. For web use-use the gif formatted logo; for word documents-use the jpeg logo; and for signage, ads, or other graphic needs-use the sizable eps formatted logo. The BOMA Philadelphia member logo is a full color logo. Reproduction of the BOMA Philadelphia member logo must be as follows (in order of preference). Each version is available from the BOMA Philadelphia office.
For each logo, the colors are as follow:
- For electronic use, or RGB color processing, use these percentages
Blue: R: 8%; G: 91%; B: 166%; White: R: 255%; G: 255%; B: 255% - For print use, or CMYK color processing, use these percentages:
Blue: C: 100%; M: 43%; Y: 0%; K: 0%; White: C: 0%; M: 0%; Y: 0%; K: 0% - Grayscale. Use the following percentages: Blue: K: 55.37%; White: K: 0%
