BOMA Partners: COVID-19 Response Webinar Series
Presented by the BOMA Associate Member and Education & Program Committees

Join us for a virtual education session with Rich Batcho, CLT, HOF of BATCH-O-BLOOMS on The Importance of Biophilic Design in Office Spaces. This webinar presentation will discuss several ways plants can be used in an office space whether in a commercial office, tenant space, or home setting. Rich will discuss what biophilia is and its benefits, and how biophilic design can be a solution to sprucing up your workspace, creating social and physical barriers using plants, and how plants improve productivity, health and wellness.
Rich Batcho is the owner of Batch-O Blooms, an Interior Plantscaping company that he started in 1989.  Rich is currently the co-chair of the Associate Member Committee of BOMA and a member of the Education and Event Committee.  If you have attended the BOMA Holiday Parties for the
past four years, you probably have seen the original, imaginative artistry of his table decorations.

Rich is a Certified Landscape Technician, a registered Trainer in The Economics of Biophilia, and Biophilic Design in Fitwel, the WELL Building Standard and Living Building Challenge. Over the past three decades, Rich has won numerous awards and has been active in organizations that have helped develop his knowledge of the industry to help create solutions for the challenges that businesses have to enhance their building spaces to improve productivity and employee health and safety.  In 2019, Rich was inducted into the Interior Plantscape Hall of Fame.
