Job Summary:

The Capital Projects Specialist is responsible for assisting with and coordinating renovations around the three million square foot center city Philadelphia HQ Campus.  Projects will vary from full floor office design and construction to renovations of existing spaces within the campus.  A strong understanding of construction documents and design plans is a must.  Ability to handle multiple tasks and balance several projects at one time.

Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and oversee requests for renovations around the Corporate Campus
- Ability to work with external design firms and architects
- Understanding of construction elements and furniture systems
- Strong budgeting and time management skills
- Meet with business units to determine their renovation requests and design a project plan for implementation
- Ability to review construction documents and perform site evaluations/punchlists
- Processing and tracking of invoices for approval and payment
- Data entry of purchase requests in Oracle systems
- Willingness and ability to take on new department projects and assignments as required
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to support team oriented administrative tasks
- Working in a fast paced environment 

Additional Responsibilities:

- Coordinates furniture reconfigurations and employee moves, adds, and changes
- Ensures accuracy of vendor billing and compiles information for regional executive management for approval on all major repairs
- Works with building management in coordinating the maintenance, work, and repair of electrical, plumbing
- Assists with after hours projects and on-call emergencies
- Ensures that buildings are in compliance with Company & OSHA checklists
- Maintains floor plan database. Keeps track of Certificate of Insurances and service contracts of approved vendors

- Assists with the management of the office facility to include: coordinating service request with vendors, coordinating employee moves, furniture reconfigurations, pricing, delivery, installation services, and maintaining a floor plan database
- Responsible for maintaining office equipment and supplies and handles shipping and receiving operations
- Arranges the repair of inoperative equipment
- Assists with coordinating building maintenance and repairs
- Performs a variety of duties to ensure that the buildings' daily operations function smoothly, and ensures building provides a safe, positive, and professional image of Company
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary

Job Specification:

- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent, related experience required
- 3-6 years project management, design or facilities fundamentals 
- Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD or Revit and Project Management software
- Portfolio / Project Examples Required
- Generally requires 0-2 years related experience
