Sustainable Engineering & Operations

COMMITTEE MISSION STATEMENT

The BOMA Philadelphia Sustainable Engineering and Operations Committee (SEO) provides awareness and educational resources for engineering, resilience and sustainability.  The committee goal is to provide guidance for strategic energy projects, information on proposed and existing sustainable and utility legislation as well as industry specific knowledge of how operations can impact properties.  The committee serves as a conduit to other local organizations, such as the Greater Philadelphia Association of Energy Engineers (GPAEE), Green Building United (GBU), and the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability.  The SEO Committee recognizes BOMA member achievements with annual Earth Day and Engineer of the Year awards.
