Associate Membership WAIT LIST

According to BOMA Philadelphia’s Policies & Procedures, the Association should strive to maintain a membership ratio of 55% Regular Members to 45% Associate Members. This policy is in place to maintain a balanced ratio between property managers and service provider partners.

In order to be added to the wait list, an Associate Member company must provide the following:

  • A $200 wait list fee (the typical $200 initiation fee will be waived once new member is moved from the wait list).

  • A completed membership application.

Wait-listed members will be moved to the New Member list for Board approval upon the membership ratio climbing back to 55/45, in the order in which the BOMA office receives completed applications and fees paid in full.

A potential new Associate Member may bypass the wait list in two different ways

Option A - Recruit a Regular Member: Bring in a NEW property manager, facility manager, asset manager, etc. Once the new Regular Member pays dues in full, and lists you as their membership referral, you will be moved from the wait list. Option B – Sponsorship: A potential new Associate Member may pay for a sponsorship of at least $3,000 for the BOMA Philadelphia Annual Golf Outing, TOBY Awards, Holiday Event or semi-annual Building Leadership Program. Please contact info@bomaphila.con or 215-567-1775 for more details on available sponsorships. The cost of the sponsorship does not include membership dues.

This policy does not apply to existing Associate Member companies adding ADDITIONAL members under their current membership.
