This November, buildings and landmarks around the US will 'Go Purple' in support of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's U.S. Antibiotic Awareness Week campaign, which the Philadelphia Department of Public Health promotes on a local level. The goal of this campaign is to raise awareness about the threat antibiotic resistance poses to human health and to promote appropriate antibiotic use.
