World Day of Remembrance for road traffic victims is recognized nationally and internationally every year on the third Sunday of November. Families for Safe Streets Greater Philadelphia and the Bicycle Coalition hold a public memorial for those who have been injured or lost loved ones in a car crash. This year’s theme Invest in Safety, Not Speed seeks to bring awareness to speeding being a factor in a third of all traffic fatalities. Social media tags that will be used are #WDoR2026 , #SafetyNotSpeed , and #VisionZero
