Mesothelioma Awareness Day - LIGHT UP BLUE!

  • BOMA Philadelphia 1515 Market Street Philadelphia, PA, 19102 United States (map)

I write to request Philadelphia's building illumination lights to raise awareness for Mesothelioma Awareness Day, a national effort which is held every year on September 26. I have epithelioid peritoneal mesothelioma, which is very rare and terminal. I am the incoming Chair of the Community Advisory Board for the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation (the sponsor of Mesothelioma Awareness Day), and I am trying to achieve as much awareness as I can in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania.

We will be posting about Mesothelioma Awareness Day on our website and social media accounts, we will be working to obtain media coverage (illumination lights would be extremely helpful here), and we will celebrate our results at our annual International Symposium on Malignant Mesothelioma, which this year is being held in Houston from October 21-23.
