St. Joseph's Prep is celebrating its 175th Birthday on September 15, 2026. As the first Catholic school (founded in 1851 with Saint Joseph's University), the Prep is proud to be Philadelphia's Jesuit high school. We often say that it is impossible to think of the Prep without thinking of Philadelphia, and to have the honor of having the city lit up in crimson and gray on our birthday would be wonderful.
