This November, buildings and landmarks around the U.S. will 'Go Purple' in support of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's U.S. Antibiotic Awareness Week campaign, which the Philadelphia Department of Public Health promotes on a local level. Last year, many buildings in Philadelphia went purple for USAAW. The goal of this campaign is to raise awareness about the threat antibiotic resistance poses to human health and to promote appropriate antibiotic use. Should our request be accepted, we will reach out with social media tags in September once they are released by CDC.
