World Sickle Cell Awareness Day - LIGHT UP RED!

  • BOMA Philadelphia 1515 Market Street Philadelphia, PA, 19102 United States (map)

Shine the Light on Sickle Cell is a national awareness campaign that illuminates buildings and landmarks in red to recognize World Sickle Cell Awareness Day on June 19 and to honor the individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease. The campaign raises public awareness, promotes education, and encourages communities to stand in solidarity with those living with this lifelong blood disorder.

We are requesting red lighting on or around June 19, with flexibility for participating buildings based on availability. Suggested social media tags include #ShineTheLightOnSickleCell, #WorldSickleCellDay, and #SickleCellAwareness.
