ABOUT OUR PANELISTS:

  • James "Jim" Baney is a Vice President at GreenUp with over two decades of experience in project management and construction management of environmental restoration and construction projects. Jim serves as the general manager of GreenUp, which specializes in the construction and maintenance of green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) systems. Certified in the National Green Infrastructure Certification Program (NGICP), he also completed the first “Train the Trainer” course to certify instructors for the program. Jim has also led the development and implementation of stormwater maintenance training programs for private owners, municipalities, and institutions.

  • Kevin Flynn, PE, is a Senior Vice President at AKRF, leader of the firm’s Philadelphia office, and a nationally recognized expert in the design and operation of urban stormwater infrastructure systems. He has extensive experience in the implementation of large-scale stormwater infrastructure asset management programs and has led the development of maintenance program protocols and specifications for multiple jurisdictions. Kevin manages AKRF’s related green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) maintenance company, GreenUp, which performs boots-on-the-ground maintenance for hundreds of urban GSI systems.

  • Matt Landro is a Senior Project Manager in Bohler’s Chalfont, PA office, where he leads teams in delivering land development solutions that help clients achieve their project goals. With 12 years of experience, he has successfully guided projects across education, residential, commercial, and industrial markets, including high-profile retail programs for clients such as Walmart, Chick-fil-A, and McDonald’s. As a trusted partner, Matt oversees projects from initial planning through construction, coordinating with consultants, municipal reviewers, and regulatory agencies to streamline approvals and keep projects moving forward. His expertise includes site layout, grading, stormwater management, utilities, and regulatory compliance at the local, county, and state levels. He also plays an active role in mentoring junior staff and strengthening the office’s commitment to quality and client service.

  • Erin Williams is an operations manager and licensed Professional Engineer and wastewater operator at the Philadelphia Water Department. She started at PWD in 2008 and has worked in a range of roles including stormwater management design, stormwater incentives development and administration, and collection system operations and maintenance. In her current position she oversees the daily operations of multiple units responsible for the O&M of the city’s sewer system and green stormwater infrastructure projects. Outside of work Erin enjoys playing soccer, seeing a lot of live music and getting outside onto trails whenever she can.

  1. Look for signage that says EVENT PARKING with the BOMA logo

  2. The Foley Center (where the event will be held) is outlined in RED

  3. Parking is available in the lots outlined in BLUE – some lots have limited availability and may fill up quickly

  4. Once parked in one of the lots, you will walk the path in YELLOW to the Foley center

  5. For those parking in lots on the side of City Ave opposite the Foley Center, there is a pedestrian underpass – again, follow the YELLOW path
