Light up PURPLE on December 3, 2026 to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPWD) and support the global #PositivelyPurple campaign, sponsored by our partner PurpleSpace. The United Nations proclaimed IDPWD in 1992, and it remains an important moment to raise awareness and celebrate the contributions of people with disabilities. Today, an estimated 1.3 billion people—16% of the global population (1 in 6)—experience a significant disability.
